Fruit and vegetables have no cholesterol
This is true. All fruits and vegetables are cholesterol-free, even avocados which contain high
amounts of oil. Oils and fats produced from plants such as olive, palm kernel, peanut, safflower,
corn and soybean also do not contain cholesterol. In contrast, fats and oils from animal sources,
such as butter, lard and tallow contain varying amounts of cholesterol.
