Professor David Briggs  

Professor David Briggs is a food scientist and Associate Professor in the Section of Human Nutrition at Deakin University.

He is the author of many scientific publications, a contributor to the book Food and Nutrition in Australia (Methuen, 1982, 1988), coauthor of Eating Matters (Methuen Haynes, 1985), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, and a member of several other professional associations, including the Nutrition Society of Australia and the Australian Nutrition Foundation.

He has worked in Europe, North America and South-East Asia, and now lives at Geelong with his wife and three children.
