5.3 Meat and fat

Meat, especially red meat has gained a bad reputation in terms of health and some still consider it to be a major source of saturated fat. Fatty meats are high in saturated fat but if meat is lean it is low in saturated fat.

Compare the fat content of different meats in the graph below.
